The 79-year-old golf course, which only accepted its first black member in 1990, has invited Condoleeza Rice and South Carolina investment banker Darla Moore to join.
This is sort of off-topic, but I love Condoleezza Rice. Here’s what she said about taking up golf:
”I find that I enjoyed walking from shot to shot and deciding how I’m going to get out of this or that trouble,” she said. “I just enjoy the strategy of it.”
