Savannah Dietrich, the 17-year-old rape victim threatened with a charge of contempt of court for violating a gag order about her case’s settlement by tweeting the names of her rapists, may get some real justice after all. According to the judge currently in charge of the case:
The very idea that a young victim of sexual assault would find the courage to tell her story and come to court, only to have no one listen to her, explain to her what is happening and then have the parties reach some type of deal without her input is abhorrent.
